This is the sewing projects that come this fall. I think I will focus more on myself and challenge myself when it comes to adult clothing. It is much harder than the children’s clothing and fabric consumption is much higher. So here comes a list of the most exciting outfits:
I plan to make it with this rainfabric just like the catalog
but a bit warmer so i will line it with quilted fabric
Not sure witch fabric yet, but maybe two or tree in diffrent styles I can use on work. Maybe in wool. This pattern is from burda
Skirt witch suspenders
This is also from burda and I love the look
This skirt is too from burda but not more in the burdaarcive. I had it for two years but still have not made it yet. I think the lower curve makes the whole skirt
This skirt is so simple but so cool, have to make it, but maybe in the springprojects instead. Pattern here
This will be so difficult and fabric is caramuse! I have cut it out and just cutting it was kind of hell so I’m afraid to sew in it. Never tried silky fabric before
This one will be much easier and wich fleece. Not soo sure of the pattern so have to think about it.
And the last one is my cristmasdress and crismaspartydress if the dress 1 fails
All the dress patterns are from ss
I want to learn to make zipper-fly. I have some denim fabric and this pattern i will construct all by my self. So a real challenge and showing the whole process shown to you of course
All these projects will be linked up to the finished garments. It so much I will do and I have too do some sewing for the home first, wish me luck!
I have just spend several hours updating my entire blog, added some new links and made a list of “some” of my favorite tutorial. Just click on the new tab right above. More will be added.
It has not been much time to sew the last week. The reason is that we have plans to build an extra floor to the house and I have taken on me the task to draw in a that in 3D. I use the program Inventor and it’s really fun, but it leads to a bunch of discussions with my husband about how it should be … stubborn as I am baahh… I’am a designer hrmf..
Along comes the new kitchen on Monday from IKEA and we will install it ourself, it means that there will be no time in front of the sewingmachine the following week either : (
Well happily married with two children, the 2 hours I have each evening is spent drawing and screw up the kitchen. But I have a very good idea for a garment that mills around up in my brain and I can hardly wait to try it out!
Well, my first very local tradeshow. It was ok, and I sold 2-3 product ‘s.
I can’t wait to get home from vacation and sew a lot!! My head is hurting, its so many great ideas I have to try out.. but I have to please my boyfriends fishing trip first. Have fun with the kids tamdidam…
Not so much sewing latly but I really want to though! My 2-year old son have vacation from kindergarten all July and my housband have summervacation(He is bulding a porch patio in front of our house). Not so much time to sneak out and sew ahh Well well In the mean time I code my store (I can use a pc and wath the children somtimes) I have download zencart and are going to pull my hair out soon hehe. It so much to understand! But I think I work out the shipping (oh my good so much zones to send to), the payment(paypal and visa). The design was the fun part! I was thinking about selling at etsy but this is a american marked and I don’t think I can competie in that “sorry” cheap price-range. I will of curse sell to US. We have a corresponding website here in Norway, called epla.no but it’s a little fun to try myself and I hope to get enough traffic via this blog and commercial. So I hope You, my dear reader will buy my stuff well if I figure out this codething in zen though. In the meantime, I found this awesome website register. Lots and lots of fabric stores. If you are a fabric junkie like me you are going in at your own risk
